The project is a mountain motel,
comprised of 80 bed rooms, a cafeteria, lobby
and outdoor facilities. Our idea was
to generate a building which was conceptually a tent with architectural techtonics, such that the building skin was a part of the landscape, as in a tent,
and its folded planes blended with the geological data of the mountain. Our project aspired to reverse the modernist premise of "man over nature" and regards man as a biological therefore technological extension
of nature.
