Lauren & Ed's Loft was designed as half residence half cooking studio. The property was in a typical high-end condo building (with a typically "tough" condo board) around union square in manhattan. We initially were said no to every design proposal and were even said no when we didn't ask anything. In our well defined design parameters, we designed an actually great looking loft and a fun place to cook, entertain and lounge. The judgement is yours of course. The project was not realized due change of plans on client's part and the property was sold shortly after.
