Fopps Boutique is a European women's fashion store located in the Upper East Side, Manhattan. Studio Vural was commissioned to design an overall remodeling and lighting scheme for the store. Important design issues were the visibility from the busy Lexington Avenue front, bright yet indirect lighting, abundant display space, and sophisticated finishes. When the job was completed we had added 85' of extra shelving without crowding the space and generated an astonishing backlit ceiling design which was bright yet diffused. The quality of walnut paneling and white frosted laminated glass added finesse to the geometric dynamism.
