Studio Vural is a New York based architecture and interior design firm specializing in commercial and residential projects. Our design services range from residential and brownstone renovations to restaurant and retail projects. Depending on the project type, we provide full architecture, expediting and engineering services to make Studio Vural a one-stop-shop for our clients.

Studio Vural was founded in 2006 by Selim Vural, a Turkish architect with a BArch degree from Fine Arts Academy in Istanbul and an MArch degree from Pratt Institute in New York. While working for his family architecture firm, Selim spent 4 years studying masterpieces of Byzantine and Ottoman architecture in the historic peninsula of Istanbul. In 1993, Selim moved to NY to pursue further education in arts and architecture. He graduated from Pratt Institute with an MArch degree and established Studio Vural after a 12 year experience with prominent firms. Some of these firms inlcude Eisenman Architects, Skidmore Owings and Merrill, Swanke Hayden Connell and Robert AM Stern Architects. Selim also taught architectural studio classes at the University of Arkansas, New York Institute of Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Pratt Institute.

Studio Vural is interested in developing a visual language that is contemporary yet conscious of historic typologies. Our expert knowledge on function and program enables us to accommodate our client's objectives however versatile and complex. Our sensitivity to rhythm of residential life and commercial procedures of business help our clients get the best out of their real estate.
